Patient Dog They Say Eats The Fattest Bone

The patient dog eats the fattest bone. Patience is a virtue, one that serves us when things are uncertain or hard. That's the normal course of life. Uncertainties, hardship, and happiness, separately or all together.

But patience should not be mistaken for inaction. It has become normalized these days to default to patience as a coping mechanism when action is required. When patience does more harm than good.

When you are too patient, you risk missing the bone. It is true that the patient dog eats the fattest bone, but only when there is a bone to be eaten.
